P.A.F. (096) - SPIDERCIDE (classic)

¡¿Cuántos clones tiene este tipo?? 

Spidercide (de Tierra-616) es el último de los cinco éxitos del Chacal en la clonación de Spider-Man.

Originalmente estaba encerrado en una cápsula de estasis para ser utilizado en una fecha posterior para un propósito, hasta entonces, no especificado. A pesar de las apariencias, el rojo y el azul que lleva no es un disfraz, sino el color de su piel.

Aunque todavía negaba el hecho de que era un clon, Spidercide murió durante una batalla con Ben Reilly y Kaine, después de que Kaine lo empalara en el corazón con un poste cargado eléctricamente. Chacal recuperó posteriormente sus restos y se regeneró en 36 horas, sin atención médica. Más tarde hirió mortalmente a Kaine empalándolo en el pecho, lo que provocó que Ben Reilly, enfurecido, lo arrojara a una red eléctrica, pero nuevamente, se regeneró rápidamente. Más tarde luchó contra Peter Parker y Ben Reilly en el techo del Daily Bugle, donde Ben lo echó del techo a patadas. Cayó antes de que sus redes pudieran atraparlo, salpicando su cuerpo en una pila de sustancia protoplásmica inerte. La policía se llevó sus restos y lo congelaron para evitar que regresara.

Spidercide (of Earth-616) is the Jackal's last of five successes at cloning Spider-Man.

He was originally locked in a stasis pod to be used at a later date for an, as-of-then, unspecified purpose. Despite appearances, the red and blue he is wearing is not a costume, but the color of his skin.

While still in denial of the fact that he was a clone, Spidercide died during a battle with Ben Reilly and Kaine, after Kaine impaled him through the heart with an electrically charged pole. Jackal later recovered his remains and he regenerated in 36 hours, without medical attention. He later mortally wounded Kaine by impaling him through the chest, causing an enraged Ben Reilly to throw him into a power grid, but again, he quickly regenerated. He later fought Peter Parker & Ben Reilly on the roof of the Daily Bugle, where Ben kicked him off the roof. He fell before his webbing could catch, splattering his body into a pile of inert, protoplasmic goo. His remains were taken away by police and he was frozen to keep him from returning.

P.A.F. (095) - SPIDER-BOY 1 (AMALGAM)

Reactivamos los P.A.F. de la Serie 1 de Spider-Man, porque ya estamos muy cerquita de completar los cien modelos, y ya habiendo definido cuáles versiones de Spidey haremos para cerrar esta primer serie, que no será ninguna revelación muy descabellada, sino apenas versiones que son infaltables en el lore del arácnido, esta vez les traemos esta maravilla creada en los 90´s, en aquellas épocas en las que las dos más grandes compañías de comic del mundo podían darse el lujo de encarar proyectos curiosos y arriesgados en conjunto, como fue el Universo Amalgam, donde los héroes más significativos de ambas compañías se fusionaban, de allí proviene este genial Spider-Boy.

 Spider-Boy (Pete Ross) es la amalgama de Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) de Marvel Comics y Superboy (DC Comics).

Un intento del Proyecto Cadmus de crear un clon adulto de Super-Soldado con la capacidad de controlar la gravedad fue saboteado. El genetista e investigador de clonación que diseñó el clon, Peter Parker, murió durante la explosión "accidental" del laboratorio causada por Kenny Gargan. El clon se despertó prematuramente a una edad mucho más temprana y emergió de los escombros. El joven muchacho inmediatamente corrió por una pared confundido. El jefe del proyecto, Thunderbolt Ross, sintiendo pena por el clon y responsable de su bienestar, lo adoptó legalmente (dándole al niño el apellido Ross) y lo llamó Pete (en honor a su creador).

Pete y su "tío Gen" eran una familia feliz hasta que el general Ross fue asesinado por un asaltante. Pete juró que se enfrentaría al peligro y se convertiría en el centro de atención para que los criminales se centraran en él y no en personas inocentes, ya que sintió que lo habían descartado como un niño durante el incidente. Inspirado por su habilidad similar a una araña para caminar por las paredes, diseñó un disfraz y se llamó Spider-Boy.

Spider-Boy luego regresó al Proyecto Cadmus y recibió un "lanzador de telarañas", una pistola especial que dispara hebras de telaraña sintética. Como agente de Cadmus, Spider-Boy fue asignado para luchar contra monstruosidades genéticas. Pero como Pete Ross, fue fotógrafo del sórdido tabloide Daily Bugle, tomando fotos incriminatorias de sí mismo con atractivas superheroínas, habiéndose convertido en un fenómeno cultural pop importante después de su debut.

Spider-Boy comenzó a enfrentarse a muchos villanos, como King Lizard, Bizarnage, Venom Stinger, Arachno (aunque eventualmente se convirtió en un antivillano), Recluse e incluso Kenny Gargan (que se había convertido en Scorpi-Con). Sin embargo, su mayor desafío fue conseguir una cita a ciegas con la Reina Insecto. Sorprendentemente, los dos se llevaron bien y más tarde se comprometieron. Según Spider-Boy 2099, la vida de Spider-Boy nunca volvería a ser la misma después de casarse con la Reina Insecto.

We reactivate the P.A.F. of Series 1 of Spider-Man, because we are already very close to completing the hundred models, and having already defined which versions of Spidey we will make to close this first series, which will not be a very crazy revelation, but just versions that are inevitable in the lore of the arachnid, this time we bring you this marvel created in the 90's, in those times when the two largest comic companies in the world could afford to undertake curious and risky together, as was the Amalgam Universe, where the most significant heroes of both companies merged, that's where this great Spider-Boy comes from.

Spider-Boy (Pete Ross) is the Amalgam of Marvel Comics' Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) and DC Comics' Superboy.

An attempt by Project Cadmus to create an adult clone of Super-Soldier with the ability to control gravity was sabotaged. The geneticist and cloning researcher who engineered the clone, Peter Parker, was killed during the "accidental" lab explosion caused by Kenny Gargan. The clone awakened prematurely at a much younger age and emerged from the wreckage. The young boy immediately ran up a wall in confusion. The head of the project, Thunderbolt Ross, feeling sorry for the clone and responsible for his welfare, legally adopted him (giving the boy the last name of Ross) and named him Pete (after his creator).

Pete and his "Uncle Gen" were a happy family until General Ross was killed by a mugger. Pete swore that he would face danger and make himself the center of attention so criminals would focus on him and not innocent people, as he felt he had been dismissed as just a boy during the incident. Inspired by his spider-like ability to walk on walls, he fashioned a costume and called himself Spider-Boy.

Spider-Boy later returned to Project Cadmus and is given a "web-shooter", a special pistol that fires strands of synthetic webbing. As a Cadmus agent, Spider-Boy was assigned to battle genetic monstrosities. But as Pete Ross, he was a photographer for the sleazy tabloid the Daily Bugle, taking incriminating photos of himself with attractive super-heroines, having become a major pop cultural phenomenon after his debut.

Spider-Boy began facing many villains, such as King Lizard, Bizarnage, Venom Stinger, Arachno (though he eventually became an anti-villain), Recluse, and even Kenny Gargan (who had become Scorpi-Con). However, his biggest challenge was getting set up on a blind date with the Insect Queen. Surprisingly, the two hit it off and later got engaged. According to Spider-Boy 2099, Spider-Boy's life would never be the same after he married Insect Queen.

P.A.F. (072) GREEN GOBLIN (NO WAY HOME)

 "We have to do Norman..." a Minion mused. It's too much work, I replied, knowing that by referring to the character as "Norman", he was undoubtedly talking about his version of No Way Home, since when he talks about the Green Goblin from the Sam Raimi saga he always goes by the name of the character, but Norman, Norman is the other one, who is the same, but the son of a bitch. Knowing that it would imply a significant amount of work, and taking into account that we always try not to go outside the complexity parameters of our models, it was not feasible to carry out such a project, because it takes too many extra parts, and the alternatives are several, but the seed had been planted, and Norman the son of a bitch had started to germinate, we had to sit down and design, much of it from scratch, since the armor he wears in the movie is NOT exactly the same as in the classic saga, and those subtle differences are visible, in the design, then we had to break it, crack it, dirty it, make it shit, and after that, fix it, since in the movie it has a million fixes and appliqués that completely change its appearance. The face was another screwed up issue, we couldn't use a generic face from the database, his features are too particular, and we couldn't dodge them, we had to portray him as similar as possible, something was done. But the madman also comes with extra weapons, with goggles, at a certain moment he also wears the helmet, the belts, the bag, the hood and the rags... In short, we broke our backs for a good couple of hours to carry out this madness. If something is missing from this model, it can only be the slider and the pumpkin bombs, but hey people, we make paper dolls, we are not Hasbro.

 "Hay que hacer a Norman..." musitó un Minion. Es demasiado trabajo, repliqué, sabiendo que al referirse al personaje como "Norman", estaba indudablemente hablando de su versión No Way Home, ya que cuando se habla del Green Goblin de la saga de Sam Raimi va siempre por el nombre del personaje, pero Norman, Norman es el otro, que es el mismo, pero el hijo de puta. Sabiendo que implicaría una cantidad de trabajo significativa, y teniendo en cuenta que siempre tratamos de no salirnos de los parámetros de complejidad de nuestros modelos, no era factible realizar tal proyecto, porque lleva demasiadas piezas extra, y las alternativas son varias, pero la semilla había sido plantada, y Norman el hijo de puta había comenzado a germinar, tuvimos que sentarnos a diseñar, gran parte desde cero, ya que la armadura que usa en la película NO es exactamente la misma que en la saga clásica, y esas sutiles diferencias son visibles, en el diseño, después tuvimos que romperla, agrietarla, ensuciarla, hacerla mierda, y después de eso, arreglarla, ya que en la peli cuenta con un millón de arreglos y apliques que le cambian totalmente el aspecto. La cara fue otro asunto jodido, no podíamos usar un rostro genérico de la base de datos, sus facciones son demasiado particulares, y no las podíamos esquivar, había que retratarlo lo más parecido posible, algo se hizo. Pero además el loco viene con armas extra, con antiparras, en determinado momento usa el casco también, los cintos, el bolso, la capucha y los harapos... Resumiendo, nos partimos el lomo por un buen par de horas para llevar a cabo esta locura. Si algo le falta a este modelo, sólo puede ser el deslizador y las bombas calabaza, pero bueno gente, hacemos muñequitos de papel, no somos Hasbro.

Esperamos que este modelo sea de su agrado y se convierta en uno de los más descargados, como sucedió con su versión clásica, y si es el caso, nos gustaría leer sus comentarios al respecto, hágannos saber que todavía vale la pena seguir compartiendo semejante esfuerzo que hacemos de manera gratuita y para todo el mundo. Somos conscientes de que puede que les lleve bastante más tiempo del normal hacer esta figura, pero confíen en nosotros que realmente valdrá la pena. Nos vemos muy pronto, que se diviertan.
