P.A.F. - (087) - SPIDER-MAN PS4 (Insomniac Games)

 Spider-man es, junto con Batman, uno de los personajes de comics que mayor cantidad de encarnaciones en el mundo de los videojuegos ha tenido, y aunque no todas estas han generado un gran impacto, el videojuego simplemente titulado Spider-Man, que Insomniac Games lanzara en 2018, con exclusividad para la consola Playstation 4 en un principio, sí que significó una verdadera revolución y sacudió el mundo de los fanáticos, tanto de los videojuegos, como de los comics, y obviamente a todos los seguidores acérrimos del personaje. Y si bien son incontables los trajes y versiones que podemos utilizar en este juego y sus secuelas, el primer diseño original (que luego obtendría sutiles modificaciones, en tonalidades y otros detalles menores) y que le brindaría identidad propia a esta entrega, es este diseño que les traemos hoy en forma de Modelo P.A.F. Las características identificatorias de este modelo lo hacen digno de engrosar las filas de nuestra colección de Spideys, esperamos que ustedes también lo vean de esa manera.

Spider-man is, along with Batman, one of the comic characters that has had the greatest number of incarnations in the world of video games, and although not all of these have generated a great impact, the video game simply titled Spider-Man, which Insomniac Games launched in 2018, exclusively for the Playstation 4 console at first, it did mean a true revolution and shook the world of fans, both of video games and comics, and obviously to all the staunch followers of the character. And although there are countless costumes and versions that we can use in this game and its sequels, the first original design (which would later obtain subtle modifications, in tones and other minor details) and that would give its own identity to this installment, is this design that we bring to you today in the form of P.A.F. Model.The identifying characteristics of this model make it worthy of joining the ranks of our Spideys collection, we hope you see it that way too.

P.A.F. - (086) - ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN (animated)

 La que es probablemente la serie animada con mayor cantidad de capítulos es Ultimate Spider-Man, una significativa apuesta de Marvel que vino a reemplazar a la encarnación previa y favorita del público Spectacular Spider-Man, que contó apenas con dos temporadas. Ultimate Spider-Man contó con cuatro temporadas, y una alta calidad gráfica y de animación. La serie basó sus diseños en la línea de comics de Ultimate Spider-Man, pero su historia presentó una nueva visión de los personajes, vinculando a Spidey con infinidad de personajes del Universo Marvel, Shield y Nick Fury, White Tiger, Power Man, Iron Fist, Nova y muchos más, además de mostrarnos versiones alternativas del trepamuros de diversos universos como así también gran número de enemigos. En resumidas cuentas el tono cómico y cuasi paródico de las historias, y la carencia de seriedad y dramatismo convirtieron a Peter en alguien más parecido a un Deadpool adolescente que al personaje que hemos conocido y aceptado durante décadas. La respuesta del público fue negativa a niveles generales, aún así es innegable la inversión que benefició a esta apuesta, evidenciable en su cantidad de episodios, lo que llevaron a esta serie a convertirse en la encarnación de Spider-Man más representativa para una generación. El diseño del traje en esta versión no difiere prácticamente en nada del traje original (apenas los brazos son diferentes) y nos damos el gusto de realizar este modelo y así seguir ampliando nuestra colección infinita y en crecimiento de versiones de Spider-Man, esperamos que les guste.

What is probably the animated series with the largest number of episodes is Ultimate Spider-Man, a significant commitment from Marvel that came to replace the previous incarnation and public favorite Spectacular Spider-Man, which had just two seasons. Ultimate Spider-Man had four seasons, and high quality graphics and animation. The series based its designs on the Ultimate Spider-Man comic line, but its story presented a new vision of the characters, linking Spidey with countless characters from the Marvel Universe, Shield and Nick Fury, White Tiger, Power Man, Iron Fist, Nova and many more, in addition to showing us alternative versions of the wall-crawler from various universes as well as a large number of enemies. In short, the comical and quasi-parodic tone of the stories, and the lack of seriousness and drama turned Peter into someone more similar to a teenage Deadpool than the character we have known and accepted for decades. The public's response was negative at general levels, yet the investment that benefited this bet is undeniable, evident in its number of episodes, which led this series to become the most representative incarnation of Spider-Man for a generation. The design of the suit in this version does not differ practically at all from the original suit (barely the arms are different) and we have the pleasure of making this model and thus continue expanding our infinite and growing collection of versions of Spider-Man, we hope that you like it.

P.A.F. - (085) - MARVEL SPIDER-MAN

 Una versión más de Spidey, en esta ocasión otra de las versiones animadas, de la serie animada Marvel Spider-Man nos llega este rediseño con cambios tan sutiles que los mismos dibujantes de la serie se las vieron negras para mantener de manera consistente, cometiendo en infinidad de oportunidades errores de coloración y hasta de diseño. En particular esta serie vino después de Ultimate Spider-man (animado), y consistió en una nueva reimaginación del personaje absolutamente innecesaria y de resultados bastante cuestionables, no logró la popularidad pretendida. Pero para el caso, los mencionados sutiles cambios en el traje nos dan a nosotros, Cacique Comics, la oportunidad de realizar un nuevo Modelo P.A.F. para agregar a nuestra ya basta colección, y aunque no somos exactamente fanáticos de todas estas series modernas que nos presentan a un Peter Parker tan adolescente, sí que nos gusta hacer los modelos de los Spideys chiquitines, así que esperamos que a ustedes también les guste y se copen a armarlo.

One more version of Spidey, this time another of the animated versions, from the Marvel Spider-Man animated series, this redesign comes to us with changes so subtle that the very artists of the series found it difficult to maintain consistently, committing errors in infinite opportunities for coloring and even designs. In particular, this series came after Ultimate Spider-man (animated), and consisted of a new reimagining of the character that was absolutely unnecessary and with quite questionable results, it did not achieve the intended popularity. But for that matter, the aforementioned subtle changes to the suit give us, Cacique Comics, the opportunity to make a new P.A.F. Model to add to our already large collection, and although we are not exactly fans of all these modern series that present us with such a teenage Peter Parker, we do like to make the models of the little Spideys, so we hope you like it too and try to build it.

P.A.F. - (084) - SPIDER-ARMOR Mk II (Bulletproof)

 Entregando este diseño estamos cumpliendo con una prolongada demanda, ya que este modelo fue durante mucho tiempo uno de los más solicitados. Nuestros seguidores desde siempre han manifestado su preferencia en cuanto a los trajes que el Peter Parker original ha utilizado en el universo principal (616) por sobre las versiones alternativas, pero en particular las distintas armaduras que Spidey ha diseñado son las más requeridas y descargadas. Hace ya un tiempo compartimos la Spider-Armor Mk I, armadura clásica en negro y plateado metálico, luego vino la Spider-Armor Mk III, que utilizase en Ends of the Earth específicamente diseñada para enfrentar a los Sinister Six, y por último y más recientemente la Spider-Armor Mk IV, rediseño del artista Alex Ross sobre el traje clásico, con una estética que la hacía asemejar más a un traje que a una armadura. Y estábamos debiendo esta Spider-Armor Mk II, el traje a prueba de balas que Spider-Man empleara durante un muy breve período de tiempo en el que su sentido arácnido no estaba funcionando bien y debía enfrentar al villano Massacre y requería una armadura que resistiera las balas. Este traje fue diseñado por el maravilloso artista español Marcos Martín, y a pesar de su brevísima aparición ha conseguido tanta popularidad que incluso recibió su versión en el videojuego de Playstation 4. En Cacique Comics solemos apegarnos a rajatabla a los diseños originales tal cual aparecieron en el medio original, pero con el afán de diferenciar este diseño de la infinidad de trajes negros que Spidey ha portado, y para resaltar el hecho de que es una armadura, nos hemos tomado la libertad de emplear una tonalidad de negro más cercana al color típico de las armas de fuego, al fin y al cabo es un traje "a prueba de balas", además de rediseñar el entramado gris ultra simplificado del diseño original. Esperamos que estas sutiles modificaciones sean de su agrado y que el resultado final logre cumplir con todas las expectativas.

Nota: Sabemos muy bien que existen dos armaduras Iron-Spider, una en los comics usada durante Civil War, y otra en el cine, pero estos diseños no son de Peter Parker sino de Tony Stark, por lo tanto no son contabilizadas.

By delivering this design we are meeting a long-standing demand, since this model was one of the most requested for a long time. Our followers have always expressed their preference regarding the suits that the original Peter Parker has used in the main universe (616) over the alternative versions, but in particular the different armors that Spidey has designed are the most requested and downloaded. A while ago we shared the Spider-Armor Mk I, classic armor in black and metallic silver, then came the Spider-Armor Mk III, which was used in Ends of the Earth specifically designed to face the Sinister Six, and lastly and more recently the Spider-Armor Mk IV, a redesign by artist Alex Ross of the classic suit, with an aesthetic that made it look more like a suit than armor. And we were owing this Spider-Armor Mk II, the bulletproof suit that Spider-Man used during a very brief period of time in which his spider sense was not working well and he had to face the villain Massacre and required armor that could resist the bullets. This costume was designed by the wonderful Spanish artist Marcos Martín, and despite its very brief appearance, it has achieved so much popularity that it even received its version in the Playstation 4 video game. At Cacique Comics we usually stick closely to the original designs as they appeared in the original media, but with the desire to differentiate this design from the countless black suits that Spidey has worn, and to highlight the fact that it is armor, we have taken the liberty of using a shade of black closer to the typical color of firearms, after all it is a "bulletproof" suit, in addition to redesigning the ultra-simplified gray framework of the original design. We hope that these subtle modifications are to your liking and that the final result meets all expectations.

Note: We know very well that there are two Iron-Spider armors, one in the comics used during Civil War, and another in the movies, but these designs are not by Peter Parker but by Tony Stark, therefore they are not counted.

P.A.F. - (083) - DEADLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN

 En el afán de innovar y ser capaces de ofrecer nuevas alternativas narrativas, MARVEL, allá por mediados de 2022 generó esta nueva versión de Spider-Man, que aún cuesta identificar si se sitúa en una realidad paralela o no, donde Spidey se adentra en un misterioso mundo donde se confunde la realidad misma con los sueños, y hay demonios y esas cosas raras, y por algún extraño motivo se ve imbuido y beneficiado por una extraña fuerza mágica que le brindaría las armas para batallar todos estos fenómenos. Honestamente, lo leí superficialmente y francamente no me convenció demasiado y no logré registrar con exactitud los pormenores de esta historia, el rediseño, aunque sutil, cumple con el entorno, y a nosotros, los fanáticos del trepamuros, nos obsequia una nueva imagen de la que disponer, con lo cual, desde Cacique Comics, nos aventuramos a darle forma de Modelo P.A.F. que como siempre les ofrecemos para que puedan descargar y armar de manera absolutamente gratuita. Esperamos que esta nueva figura les guste.

In the desire to innovate and be able to offer new narrative alternatives, MARVEL, back in mid-2022, generated this new version of Spider-Man, which is still difficult to identify if it is located in a parallel reality or not, where Spidey enters a mysterious world where reality itself is confused with dreams, and there are demons and those strange things, and for some strange reason he is imbued and benefited by a strange magical force that would give him the weapons to battle all these phenomena.  De esto medio que nos habíamos olvidado, por ello quedaron aplazadas todas las correcciones que estos modelos van a necesitar, pero es todo cuestión de tiempo, y ya había que mostrarlos un poco, porque los habíamos anunciado hace mucho y nunca actualizamos. Entonces acá está la cosa, son modelos beta aún, pero como podrán apreciar, se trata de seis modelos, el Superman clásico, tal como se veía al momento de su muerte, y también con el traje negro original que vistiese a su regreso al mundo de los vivos, y los cuatro supermanes alternativos que surgieron para "ocupar su lugar" durante el tiempo que permaneció muerto, o aparentemente muerto, el Superman Cyborg, Steel, The Kriptonian (después conocido como Erradicator) y Superboy.
