P.A.F. - (014) THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN CBS TV SERIES 1977/1979 - NICHOLAS HAMMOND

 

Hello people, although no one requested this particular suit yet, I´m aware it´s only a matter of time, so, here it is, Spidey as it appeared in the CBS TV Series aired between 1977 and 1979. This was the original very first live action iteration of the character, (yeah, I know, there was Spidey Super Stories´ segment in The Electric Company show back in 1974, but come on, we can´t take that seriously, I don´t even own those as a part of my collection). This is the one that really started it all. The suit had varied slightly throughout the episodes, the belt and bracelet weren´t always there, and the eyes changed a couple of times too. But if there´s a defyning image for this version of the wall-crawler, this is it. I even designed the bracelet and belt as separate pieces in case you don´t want to display it with them. You´ll notice that the suit itself is almost exact to that of Supaidaman, but in this case the gloves are separate pieces, and the boots are darker and don´t even cover the socks totally, yeah, he had red socks under the boots, while Supaidaman had also red socks, but lady sandals on its feet (XD), well, not much else to say, I hope you like it, enjoy it, have fun.

Hola gente, aunque nadie solicitó este traje en particular aún, soy consciente que es sólo cuestión de tiempo, asique aquí está, Spidey tal cual apreciera en la serie de televisión de CBS emitida entre 1977 y 1979. Fue esta la verdadera primera aparición live action del personaje, (sí, ya sé que estuvo previmante el segmento Spidey Super Stories en el programa The Electric Company allá por 1974, pero, vamos, no podemos tomarlo seriamente, yo ni siquiera los tengo como parte de mi colección). Este es el que realmente comenzó todo. El traje varió mínimamente con el pasar de los episodios, el cinturón y el brazalete de cartuchos no estuvieron siempre, y los ojos cambiaron algunas veces también. Pero si hay una imagen definitiva para esta versión del trepa-muros, es esta. Incluso diseñé el brazalete y cinturón como piezas separadas, en caso de que no quieran posarlo con estos elementos. Notarán que el traje mismo es casi exacto al del Supaidaman, pero en este caso los guantes son visiblemente piezas separadas del traje, y las botas son más oscuras y no cubren del todo las medias, sep, tenía medias rojas bajo las botas, mientras que Supaidaman tenía también medias rojas, pero chancletas/chanclas/alpargatas/zapatillitas de nena en los pies (XD), bueno, no más que agregar, espero que les guste, que lo disfruten, que se diviertan.

 Not much to say, I guess you remember this guy don´t you? Same procedure, enjoy.

P.A.F. - (012) FIRST APPEARANCE SPIDER-MAN

 Alright guys, as I had mentioned, Steve Ditko had a very specific and particular style for drawing Spidey, he created the look, everyone just followed his steps, therefore, it´s only fair to dedicate a P.A.F. Model to the original design of the wall-crawler, as it appeared in Amazing Fantasy 15 in 1962, of course you´ll notice that the spider emblem on its back is blue and not red, that´s because that´s how it was printed in the very first edition, I wanted to respect that. Also, I changed the placing of the pieces to make room for the webbing that absolutely has to be there (just cut it in the half, fold it and glue it in the half, and then glue it carefully under the arms, that should do it, but you´ll have to find the way to make it fit), hope you like it, have fun.

Bueno muchachos, como he mencionado, Steve Ditko tenía un estilo muy específico y particular para dibujar a Spidey, él creó el look, todos los demás sólo siguieron sus pasos, entonces, es justo dedicarle un Modelo P.A.F. al diseño original del trepamuros, tal cual apareció en el Amazing Fantazy 15 en 1962, claro que notarán que el emblema de la araña en la espalda es azul y no rojo, esto se debe a que así fue impreso en la primerísima edición, y quise respetar eso. También cambié la disposición de las piezas para hacer lugar para las telarañas que van bajo los brazos, que absolutamente tienen que estar (sólo corten el círculo a la mitad, doblen por la mitad cada parte y péguenlo, luego péguenlo cuidadosamente bajo los brazos, debería andar bien, pero le van a tener que buscar la vuelta para que encaje bien), espero que les guste, que se diviertan.

P.A.F. - (001) SPIDER-MAN 616

Alright people, I´ve been sharing every P.A.F. model of every cinematic version I could of Spider-Man in the last weeks, but the ting is, I´m a comic-book artist, and a comic-book fan. So I always thought that I should focus on the comic-book versions of Spidey, some of which I had designed years ago, and in this time, I´m adapting them to the current format, it´s not a big deal, something quite easy to do, so I hope I can keep uploading more and more of them in the next days. But always trying to attend your requests, so keep asking the models that YOU want me to upload.

Spider-Man in its original version, the 616 classic OG one, has had many different looks throughout the decades, many slight variations, in the colour scheme, in the webbing pattern, in the sape of the eyes, the symbols, etc. Almost a different look per each artist that has drawn him, with this model I try to reach a generic look that sum up the general idea that we all have of the character. We know that Steve Ditko had a very specific style, and also John Romita Sr., very distinguishable each, but after them, the appearance of the spider-suit has mantained pretty well recognizable within the same patterns, so, that look is what I offer you with this model, as always, I hope you like and enjoy it, have fun.

Bueno gente, he estado compartiendo los modelos P.A.F. de cada versión cinematográfica de Spider-Man que he podido en las últimas semanas, pero la cosa es, soy un artista de comics, y fanático de los comics. Por lo tanto siempre creí que debería enfocarme en las versiones de los comics de Spidey, algunas de las cuales había ya diseñado hace algunos años, y en este tiempo, estoy adaptándolos al formato actual, no es la gran cosa, algo bastante sencillo de hacer, por eso espero poder seguir subiendo más y más de ellos en los próximos días. Pero siempre tratando de cumplir con sus pedidos, así que sigan pidiendo los modelos que USTEDES quieran que diseñe y suba.

Spider-Man en su versión original, el clásico del universo 616, ha tenido muchos looks diferentes a través de las décadas, muchas pequeñas variaciones, en la gama de colores, en la textura de telaraña, en la forma de los ojos, de los símbolos, etc. Casi un look diferente por cada artista que lo ha dibujado, con este modelo trato de alcanzar un look genérico que cumpla con la idea general que todos tenemos del personaje. Sabemos que Steve Ditko tenía un estilo muy específico, también John Romita Sr., muy identificables cada uno, pero luego de ellos, la apariencia del spider-traje se ha mantenido bastante bien reconocible dentro de los mismos parámetros, entonces, esa apariencia es lo que les ofrezco con este modelo, como siempre, espero que les guste y lo disfruten, que se diviertan.

P.A.F. - (011) SUPAIDAMAN

 

Yeah, as requested, the Japanese Spider-Man, also known as Supaidaman (スパイダーマン), the popular Tokusatsu genre TV series produced by Toey Company and Marvel between 1978 and 1979. 

Here is my P.A.F. model, I hope I nailed the colour scheme, but, as I always remark, it depends on your printing. Have fun.

P.A.F. - (010) Spider-Man Alex Ross´ Concept

Attending the request, I bring you the spectacular suit designed by Alex Ross as an alternative for the movie of 2002 starring Tobey Maguire. Suit that, even not making it to the movie, it got far enough to be produced in real version, as we can see in this image of the cammera tests. It´s logically a design we already had from the previous batch, and that we simply adapted to the current format and proportions, once I have it built I´ll share the images of the final result, I hope you like it.

Remember, the final result will always depend on the quality of your printing, your skills to build the figure, and of course your patience.

 Cumpliendo uno de los pedidos, les traigo el espectacular traje diseñado por Alex Ross como alternativa para la película del 2002 protagonizada por Tobey Maguire. Traje que si bien no llegó finalmente a usarse en la cinta, sí que avanzó lo suficiente para que se realizara una versión real del mismo, que podemos ver en esta imagen de las pruebas de cámara. Es lógicamente un diseño que ya teníamos de la partida anterior, y que sencillamente adaptamos al actual formato y proporciones, una vez lo tenga armado les compartiré las imágenes del resultado final, espero que les guste.

Recuerden, el resultado final siempre dependerá de la calidad de su impresión, de su habilidad para armar la figura, y por supuesto de su paciencia.

 Bien, esto no es exactamente una red social, pero en todo caso, por si alguno de mis contactos me lee por acá antes que por cualquiera de mis redes:

Mi mayor preocupación es que una persona con tales habilidades, fácilmente podría haber accedido a mi cuenta bancaria, evidentemente se trató de una invasión pasiva, alguien que quería estar al tanto de mi día a día, la cuestión es por qué, por qué yo, por qué el interés, por qué no sencillamente preguntarme? Jamás le negué la palabra a nadie, ni la verdad. Honesto y transparente siempre. Alguna ex novia medio psicótica se preguntarán ustedes, ninguna que yo recuerde que tenga los conocimientos para ello. La verdad es que no me lo explico, ni cómo puede llegar a suceder algo de estas características sin dejar rastros, me llegó el mismo mensaje anónimo e irrastreable a varias de mis redes en el mismo momento exactamente avisándome, raro, muy raro. De momento ya modifiqué todas mis contraseñas, y estoy en proceso de hacer todos los reclamos y denuncias pertinentes a los equipos de seguridad de cada red social para ver qué respuestas me dan.
