Buenas noches, estimados sombríos y sombrías al rededor del globo. una vez más en Cacique Comics les traemos una nueva entrega de nuestra serie insignia SOMBRAS. Y vaya que ya tenemos un caminito transitado para llegar a este punto, a pocos meses de haber publicado, en digital y también en físico, nuestro segundo volumen y libro de SOMBRAS, el VOLUMEN ROJO, y comenzando con este Número 021 la primer entrega de lo que será el tercer volumen y libro algún día en el futuro, el VOLUMEN AZUL. A saber, actualmente, contando este número, SOMBRAS tiene ya publicados la nada despreciable cantidad de veintiún números regulares, más dos números especiales (el Nro: 000 publicado en el VOLUMEN BLANCO, y el Nro: 20.5 publicado en el VOLUMEN ROJO).

Pero centrándonos en lo nuevo, este número se titula ALSAKA: VACÍOS, la primer parte de un hilo argumental en el que Darklight, nuestro querido Yankai telepático, retorna a su punto de inicio en las tierras frías del Norte, contando con la compañía y colaboración de Overcast y Dark Lightning. ¿Y qué están buscando? Bueno, un poco hay que desentramarlo leyendo el número, pero para ir simplificando un poco las cosas, para Darklight, los recuerdos de muchos eventos de su pasado están perdidos en la niebla. Debido a la naturaleza de sus poderes en primer lugar, y en segundo, a las secuelas aún presentes en su cerebro de un episodio traumático en su historia, que involucró un aumento desmedido de sus poderes, del cual no podemos contar nada por ahora, y que no se va a contar en este arco tampoco, pero sí jugamos a darles un vistazo al respecto en la BITS de este número. En fin, que Darklight retorna a Alaska a investigar qué respuestas puede encontrar allí, en esa base subterránea abandonada, para intentar unir los puntos y redescubrir quién es, si acaso eso es posible. Pero resulta que tal complejo pertenece o perteneció, a ni más ni menos que Eternis, la organización antagonista por definición de nuestros personajes, los miembros de Viento Salvaje. Entonces, cuál es la conexión entre Darklight y Eternis? No lo sabremos en este número, eso seguro. Porque esta historia va para un par de entregas más. La acción recién está comenzando, y se va a poner áspera la cosa.

Good evening, fellow sombríos and sombrías around the globe. Once again, Cacique Comics brings you a new installment of our flagship series, SOMBRAS. And we've certainly come a long way to get here, having published our second volume and book of SOMBRAS, the VOLUMEN ROJO, both digitally and in print, just a few months ago. Starting with this Issue 021, we're launching the first installment of what will one day be the third volume and book, the VOLUMEN AZUL. To be clear, including this issue, SOMBRAS now has a not-insignificant twenty-one regular issues published, plus two special issues (Issue 000, published in the VOLUMEN BLANCO, and Issue 20.5, published in the VOLUMEN ROJO).

But focusing on the new stuff, this issue is titled ALSAKA: VOIDS, the first part of a storyline in which Darklight, our beloved telepathic Yankai, returns to his starting point in the cold lands of the North, accompanied and assisted by Overcast and Dark Lightning. And what are they looking for? Well, you have to unravel a bit by reading the issue, but to simplify things a little, for Darklight, the memories of many events from his past are lost in the fog. This is due, firstly, to the nature of his powers, and secondly, to the lingering effects in his brain of a traumatic episode in his history, which involved an uncontrolled increase in his powers. We can't reveal anything about this episode for now, and it won't be covered in this arc either, but we do offer a glimpse of it in the BITS section of this issue. So, Darklight returns to Alaska to investigate what answers he can find there, in that abandoned underground base, to try to connect the dots and rediscover who she is, if that's even possible. But it turns out that this complex belongs, or belonged, to none other than Eternis, the quintessential antagonist of our characters, the members of Viento Salvaje. So, what's the connection between Darklight and Eternis? We won't find out in this issue, that's for sure. Because this story is going to take a couple more installments. The action is just getting started, and things are about to get intense.
