CACIQUE COMICS PRESENTA
Bien, como ya cumplimos con la promesa de presentar el nuevo número, éste, en la NortComic 2024, llega el momento de subirlo para que todos tengan acceso al mismo. Recuerden que de primer momento, y de acuerdo con nuestra actual metodología, subiremos el enlace para descarga directa y gratuita, para después de un tiempo, subirlo para su lectura online. Pero repasemos de qué se trata esto. Luego de la publicación del número 017, como siempre ocurre, sobrevino una no tan breve etapa de bloqueo artístico, jajaja, lo cual no nos llevó a detener el trabajo, pero sí a que, sumado a los minúsculos tiempos disponibles, se complicara mucho más el proceso de creación de la nueva historia, llevándonos a tener que bocetear más de ocho veces, pero un buen día, nos informaron la fecha definida para el evento del que participamos cada año, que es la NortComic, la convención local de comics, manga y toda la marimba, donde siempre tenemos nuestro kiosquito como artistas invitados y nos damos el gusto de mostrar todo lo que producimos en los estudios de Cacique Comics, que no será mucho, pero poco tampoco es. La cuestión es que este fenómeno nos cargó la batería a mil, y se arrancó un nuevo proceso creativo, a un ritmo desenfrenado, que nos llevó a quemar viñeta tras viñeta, y en cuestión de nada más que diez días, quedó listo, y con nada que envidiarle a cualquier número anterior de SOMBRAS (excepto tal vez el 010, todos sabemos que el 010 fue el canto de la gorda, más vale). Por eso, le dimos la prioridad para la presentación de este número 018, en agradecimiento por el combustible. Y, habiendo cumplido con tal compromiso, es tiempo de que todas puedan acceder a esta, la más reciente entrega de SOMBRAS. Well, since we have already fulfilled the promise of presenting the new issue, this one, at NortComic 2024, the time has come to upload it so that everyone has access to it. Remember that at first, and in accordance with our current methodology, we will upload the link for direct and free download, and after a while, upload it for online reading. But let's review what this is about. After the publication of issue 017, as always happens, there came a not so brief period of artistic blockage, hahaha, which didn't lead us to stop working, but, added to the minuscule time available, it made the process of creating the new story much more complicated, forcing us to have to sketch more than eight times, but one fine day, we were informed of the set date for the event we participate in every year, which is NortComic, the local convention for comics, manga and all that marimba, where we always have our little stand as guest artists and we give ourselves the pleasure of showing everything we produce in the Cacique Comics Studios, which may not be much, but it's not little either. The thing is that this phenomenon charged our batteries to a thousand, and a new creative process was started, at a frantic pace, which led us to burn vignette after vignette, and in a matter of just ten days, it was ready, and with nothing to envy any previous issue of SOMBRAS (except maybe 010, we all know that 010 was the fat lady's call). That's why we gave it priority for the presentation of this issue 018, in gratitude for the fuel. And, having fulfilled such a commitment, it's time for everyone to have access to this, the most recent issue of SOMBRAS.
